
The better way is to keep them in one folder and password-protect the whole folder in one go. If we have a lot of files though, it would be tedious to password-protect each one of them. There are many ways to secure our files and one that we are most familiar with is password protection. Be it personal secret files or confidential files at work, adding a layer of security on sensitive files would give us peace of mind.

This would prevent accidental deletion, intentional modification, and unauthorized access and sharing of critical files.


It also keeps the files inaccessible in case our laptop gets stolen or if we accidentally left it somewhere. Protecting confidential files is of utmost importance especially if we are sharing our computers with other users.
